Petite size Feather Tether fits most Cockatiels, smaller Conures, smaller
Quakers, etc. Petite size usually fits birds weighing under 100 grams. See Size
Notes below.
Small size Feather Tether fits most larger Conures, larger
Quakers, Indian Ringnecks, Green Naped Lorikeets, Senegals, Hahn's Macaws, Blue
Headed Pionus, Goffin Cockatoos, Timneh Greys, etc. Small size usually fits
birds weighing from approximately 120-300 grams. See Size Notes
below.
Medium size Feather Tether fits most Severe Mini Macaws, Congo
Greys, Amazons, Umbrella Cockatoos, Eclectus Parrots, etc. Medium size usually
fits birds weighing approximately 325-700 grams. See Size Notes
below.
Large size Feather Tether fits most larger Macaws, Moluccan
Cockatoos, etc. Large size usually fits birds weighing from 750-1,800 grams. See
Size Notes below.
SIZE NOTES: Sizes are based on the
"average" weights of different species of birds and sizes can vary
such as:
A Blue Mutation Quaker weighing 60 grams
would wear a petite size, yet a normal Green Quaker weighing 120 grams
would wear a small size.
A Green Cheek Conure weighing 65 grams would
wear a petite, yet a larger Jenday Conure weighing 125 grams would
probably need a small size.
A petite Umbrella Cockatoo may wear a
Medium size, but a much larger male Umbrella Cockatoo may instead need a
Large size.

unsure, however you will need to know how many grams your bird weighs or we may
be unable to help you choose the correct size.
Feather Tethers
are NOT returnable due to health issues, so if
in doubt of the size, give us a call with your bird's gram weight and
age.
