This small "Ball Thing" from A&E Java Wood hangs multi-colored wicker balls and java wood slices from a chain, giving medium birds a mix of chewable textures in a compact toy.

Java wood — a naturally soft, chew-friendly wood popular with specialty toy makers — tends to be gentler on beaks than the harder wood blocks common in mass-market toys, while still standing up to daily chewing.
